My name is Brandy. I am a small orange cat, born in the spring of 1997. I live in Plano, Texas, with Dianne and Eric, my humans. Humans make pretty good servants, although they are extremely difficult to train. For example, mine persist in keeping some doors firmly closed, no matter how often I suggest that they open them so that I can go through. Can you believe that I cannot even go into all the rooms in my own house? And they have such a fit when I jump up on the kitchen counters, I finally gave up going there. Sometimes I just don't know what I'm going to do with them.
Meet Brandy the cat.
Brandy suns herself on the window ledge.
They are pretty good at pouring out fresh food, though, and keeping my fur brushed. I really like that brushing Dianne does. Every evening they get up from their table, and Dianne goes to sit in the family room, and then I'm in a real quandary. If I climb into Dianne's lap, she will usually brush me. But if I go to the kitchen table, there might be food there. It's a tough call.
Brandy naps in the kitchen.
The TV actors cannot believe how cute she is.
Brandy likes to settle down in her blanket underneath the coffee table.
Eventually, she falls asleep there.
I say that she will usually brush me, but she sometimes forgets. It's very frustrating. And sometimes, she'll start talking to Eric, and all of a sudden the brush will stop moving. And I can never convince her to brush my chin enough. I am constantly having to point my chin up in the air to remind her. As I said, they are very difficult to train.
