I spend a lot of time outside. There are flowers out there, and bushes to provide shade while I sleep. But sometimes there are monsters, like the shockmonster that tries to get me whenever I get too far away from the house. Eric and Dianne claim it's just an Invisible Fence they installed to keep me from getting run over. But I'll believe that when I see it.

And then sometimes some men come with machines that make a terrible noise. When I hear that, I always run around to the side of the house, where there's a little door that leads into the garage. The men are too big to fit through the door, so I am safe, even though I can still hear the mowers. If Dianne remembers to let me inside the house, I will usually go up the stairs and sit on the landing. The landing has strategic value because I can look down in several directions, but there is only one way up. Because it is carpeted, it is also an excellent place to nap. ...and helps us pack for a trip.
