There are quite a few places to hide inside, as well. I used to climb into the hammock underneath the recliner, but I stopped doing that because Dianne and Eric constantly disturbed me, and it's a lot of work getting in there in the first place. Lately I've been hiding in cabinets. Eric and Dianne really don't like it when I open the cabinet doors, but once I get inside, I get really quiet and they can't find me. Once Eric even closed the door to the cabinet I was in without realizing I was there. Humans can be very entertaining.
Brandy emerges from under the recliner.
Sometimes when I'm inside, I play with one of my many toys. I've got some little pom-pom balls that I can carry around in my mouth. Then there's that green ball that rolls funny, and the tennis shoes I like to hide behind. I also have a large round flat thing with holes in it, and through the holes I can see a little mouse. The mouse used to go around in circles very fast, but I finally managed to kill it so thoroughly that even Eric could not bring it back to life, no matter how many tools he used. So now it just sits there, a testament to my cunning and skill.
Brandy peeks out from the bookshelf that has been blocked by a filing cabinet.
That mouse will never leave here alive.
Brandy attacks a feather duster.
